Do I need to verify my business?
No upfront verification required — just sign up and start posting. We may verify businesses as the platform grows to add a verified badge to your profile.
How does payment work?
When you accept a student, the full gig price is charged and held in escrow by Stripe. Once both parties confirm completion, the student is paid. If a gig is cancelled before completion, you receive a full refund.
Which campuses are supported?
UGig currently supports 10+ Florida universities including UF, FSU, UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, and more. Select your nearest campus when signing up.
Can I post recurring jobs?
Currently each gig is posted individually. You can re-post gigs easily from your dashboard to create repeat work opportunities.
What if a student doesn't complete the work?
You can open a dispute through the platform. Our team will review and can issue a refund if the work wasn't completed as agreed.
